Special Luncheon for Chamber Members with Michigan Prisoner ReEntry Initiative (MPRI) Thursday, September 25 Ann Arbor Area Chamber of Commerce 115 West Huron Street, 3rd Floor, Ann Arbor 12pm - 1pm
Sponsored by: MPRI & the Ann Arbor Area Chamber of Commerce Crime rates impact the quality of life in every community. Crime affects businesses, and contributes to the perception that a community is either friendly or hostile. While Ann Arbor has a relatively low crime rate overall, the rate at which previously incarcerated residents re-offend and return to prison is the highest in the state! Many who commit crimes and go to prison return without opportunities for legal employment - leading to a revolving door of crime and incarceration that negatively affects the entire community. MPRI uses evidence-based strategies to assist county residents who are returning from prison to successfully reintegrate back into our community. The Ann Arbor Area Chamber of Commerce and its members have been instrumental in this success.
MPRI and the Ann Arbor Chamber invite you to join us on Thursday, September 25th, from 12pm - 1pm for a delicious lunch catered by the Earl of Sandwich and an opportunity to learn about this exciting new strategy to create a safer community for everyone!
FREE and open only to Chamber members. Pre-registration is required.
