Capable of working independently as the career agent is frequently out of the office and out of town.
You need to be able to take charge and see the program from information gathering, preparing presentations, completing applications, and navigating medical underwriting. The best skills are an ability to engage others in making this a priority for completion instead of procrastinating. Proven proficiency in managing the customized database, computer searches, a fully digitized record storage system. Outlook, Word, Excel and keeping all the computerized systems working. Proven competency in grammar, spelling, proofreading, detail application checking and consumer math.
No day is the same; there is a challenge to be met with every call. The day to day operations are working with wonderful, hand selected clients who have been trained to expect the highest level of professionalism. Marketing and prospecting to include phone referrals, phoning clients for appointments and implementation of marketing using Social Networks such as Linked In, Facebook. Willing to obtain needed licenses and or/ designations to reflect the professionalism of the office.
Brand new office located at Plymouth Road and US 23, with parking, on site cafeteria and all the beauty of working in a new facility with a solid insurance and investment team.
Experience in insurance, investments, finance highly desirable. Do you handle your personal finances with an eagle eye to detail? This is a full time position with the flexibility of working for one person who understands the balancing act. A great sense of humor will help. Salary /incentive compensation based on experience. Vacation and training days included. Salary in $12-15 per hour range depending on experience. Will assist you in securing health insurance if needed.
