The Ann Arbor Area Convention and Visitors Bureau (AAACVB) is a Michigan non-profit membership corporation governed by a 17-member board of directors, representing specific segments of the hospitality industry and elected by the members of the AAACVB.
The AAACVB focuses on three areas: conventions, tourism, and members. Conventions and tourism bring new dollars to the Ann Arbor area and the state of Michigan. Members are recruited to assist in the promotion of the area. With local membership support, we are able to create and perpetuate the unique image that makes the Ann Arbor area a competitive destination.
Mission
The mission of the Ann Arbor Area Convention and Visitors Bureau is to enhance the economy of the Ann Arbor area and the county of Washtenaw in general, through the promotion of the area as a destination for overnight visitors.
